Translator - Italian

Your role/title at Apart of Me:

I’m an Italian Translator here at Apart of Me.

How are you involved with Apart of Me?

I was drawn into the project once I tried the videogame out, and having two psychotherapists in the family I immediately realized the game was very well constructed and thought out to help people in need.

So, with the lockdown and all the suffering in Italy just erupting, I thought my help to create an Italian version of the game could have a good impact.

I’ll help with content transcription, translation and revision.

Is there someone or something that you love that isn’t here anymore?

My grandmothers are gone, and unfortunately I’ve never had the privilege to meet my grandfathers, because both my parents lost them at a young age.

I was really close with my maternal grandmother and her loss really shaped my when I was quite young, then I lost a friend to suicide and that was rough. Even though he was a high school friend and it happened a couple of years after graduation, you always wonder if you could have done something and let them know they were worth sticking around.

What is guaranteed to make you laugh?

I love me some word pun.

List some silly facts about you:

I laugh at my own jokes, and I’m not ashamed of it!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Father and son by Cat Stevens is the best piece of advice I’ve ever listened to.
